Dr. Amaka Momah-Haruna

Dr. Amaka Momah-Haruna serves on the Technical Advisory Council of WiPHLA. She is a public health advocate with extensive experience in women's health, community health systems, and international development across West Africa and globally. Dr. Momah-Haruna has worked with UNAIDS, UNFPA, and the World Bank on programmes addressing women's health, HIV/AIDS, and health system strengthening. She holds an MPH from Harvard University and brings expertise in programme design, monitoring and evaluation, and community engagement. Her career has focused on ensuring that health programmes are responsive to the needs of women and girls, particularly in underserved communities. She is passionate about building evidence-based approaches to advancing women's leadership in public health across Africa.
