LinkedInKatja Schiller-Nwator is Co-Founder and Governing Council Member of WiPHLA. She brings 17 years of experience across seven African countries in philanthropy, global health strategy, and systems leadership.
A Mandela Washington Fellow and Tony Elumelu Foundation grantee, Katja has been recognised with the President's Award for her contributions to community development and women's leadership. She is the Founder of Philanthropy Circuit, a platform connecting African changemakers with resources and networks. She has been named one of the top 50 African Women in Development and serves on several boards advancing health equity and women's empowerment across the continent.
Katja holds a Master's degree from Columbia Business School and a Bachelor's degree in International Relations. Her work is driven by a conviction that African women hold the solutions to Africa's public health challenges — and that leadership visibility, funding, and connected networks are what it takes to scale those solutions.
