Baloni has over 25years of practice as a clinician and a public health professional. Her core competencies of communication, drive for results and working with people was honed during her years in developmental work which has helped her achieve results while working with government in various states to improve the health and wellbeing of children and women, by building their capacity and transferring technical skills such as planning, analytics, formulation of strategies and monitoring for results. A foremost professional with broad public health knowledge working to impact health systems as a vehicle to provide sustainable development and results. She is a team player who leads by building consensus among her team, is passionate about developing people and is a good listener. As a person, she believes that strong systems provide sustainable development and results. Dr Baloni was the immediate past Commissioner of Health in Kaduna State, under her leadership the state was recognized as one of the best states in management of the COVID pandemic response as well as the pioneer state that entered a partnership with Zipline to deliver medical consumables, blood and blood products to hard to reach, far to reach and security compromised communities. She currently serves as the Chair of the Board of the Bauchi State Specialist Hospital, Acting Chair of SCIDaR Board and board member of ARC_ESM (African Resource Center for Excellence in Supply Chain Management).
