Amaka Momah-Haruna, a Nigeria national, is a Public Health & International Development Specialist with 10+years’ experience in global health policy & global health program management. She is skilled in the execution of external engagement strategies (with multilateral organizations & donor governments) that aim to promote initiatives empowering Girls, Women and Young People in low- and middle-income countries. Amaka has worked at Family Health International, UNAIDS and UNFPA and the World Bank where she led large-scale gender, youth, education and health programs focused on improving the health and developmental outcomes of marginalized women and girls. Amaka holds a Doctoral degree in Medicine (MD) from the University of Lagos, Nigeria, a Masters on Public Health from Harvard School of Public Health.
